2 cups sugar

1 cup white syrup

½ cup water

Cook to 236 degrees


1 teaspoon melted butter

3 cups raw peanuts

Cook until mixture reaches 290 degrees (stir during last few minutes)

Remove from heat


1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla

Stir until mixture thickens

Pour onto buttered baking sheets, DO NOT SPREAD or TOUCH!!!

Cool and then crack
