To start off our holiday recipes, I’m going to give you a recipe that you will inevitably need sometime in the near future, Pie Crust. This recipe makes 2 crusts so either 2 pies or 1 pie that has a double crust (one on top.) Good luck!

3 cups flour

1 ½ teaspoon salt

1 cup shortening (plus a little bit)

Gradually Add

1 egg

1 teaspoon vinegar

6 Tablespoon cold water

Tips: Makes enough for two pies.
